Keeping Score, PUMA’s first collaboration with creative director June Ambrose is about to launch. The new collection pays homage to Ambrose’s career and legacy in hip-hop and fashion, examining the notion of reflection and encouraging women to document their triumphs.
The 20-piece collection of clothing, shoes and accessories will be released in two parts. The initial drop, which will include 10 pieces in a rich burgundy and blue colorway, is available now.
Initial releases include reversible shorts and beanies, detachable mesh jersey sports bras, balaclavas, colorblock leggings and oversized sweatshirts, all while staying true to her overarching philosophy of blending fashion and function Task. Hood Hall of Famer T-shirts and trendy maxi- to midi skirts stand out. The sale will also include new versions of the iconic Ralph Sampson sneaker and the edgy Prevail sneaker.
June continues to serve as a blueprint for women of all generations, emphasizing the value of self-respect, from the dominance of streetwear and sneaker culture to the flow of hip-hop music into high design. Since joining the sportswear brand in 2020 as creative director of the women’s basketball category, June’s goal has been to showcase and inspire women, recognizing that life is a team sport and we all play to win.
These designs, Ambrose said, “compete only with the best versions of themselves; what we pay for is what we get. Let’s count this year and let the chefs start keeping score.”
The Keeping Score retails for $30-$200 and is available now worldwide at PUMA.com, in PUMA stores and select retailers. You can see the section below.
