NBA YoungBoy says he’s scared of people.
The Louisiana rapper candidly talked about a lot in a new interview with Billboard in which he documented his harsh winters in Salt Lake City, Utah. The NBA YoungBoy is currently under house arrest in Utah, but he seems to be enjoying his time in isolation from his growing family. The 22-year-old rapper lives with his wife, Jazlyn Mychelle, and their two children, 17-month-old baby girl Alice and newborn son Klemenza.
In a video of his sit-down, YoungBoy Never Broke Again admits that he is afraid of people and thinks people are “cruel.”
“I’m afraid of people,” he said tremblingly. “I’m very scared of people. On my kids. I’m very scared of people, and I’m very shy. But I don’t know why, as soon as I get on stage, people can go away.”
“People are cruel,” he continued. “Like, we can’t control ourselves. So, you never know if someone is going to do you.”
Elsewhere in the interview, NBA YoungBoy admitted that being under house arrest was probably the best thing that happened to him. Not only does he appear to have shaken off his inner turmoil, but he clearly displays a new sense of maturity. His fans are also glad he’s been under house arrest because we’ve lost so many rappers to gun violence over the past few years.
The Baton Rouge rapper took Billboard on a tour of his house, showing the surrounding area with a snowy backdrop. He also took them to his garage, where he showed off his fleet of luxury and exotic cars, including a Maybach SUV, a Tesla Model S, a Bentley Continental GT and a Ferrari.
