This Martin The cast will reunite in a special 30th anniversary episode airing exclusively on BET+ on June 16. In the trailer, the cast begins to introduce the episode in which their dead friend and sidekick Thomas Ford is reunited. Ford died in 2016.
Hosted by comedian Affion Crockett Martin The Reunion will include interviews with Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold and Carl Payne II. The special will feature musical cameos, behind-the-scenes commentary and surprise cameos.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of special guests, including Snoop Dogg and Brian Mcknight, who both appeared in one of the sitcom’s five seasons. McKnight sings “Never Feel This Way” as Martin (Martin Lawrence) proposes to Gina (Tisha Campbell).
The trailer ends with a question fans of the show have asked over the past 25 years: “Is there a Martin reboot? ”
