In an effort to give back to the Philadelphia community, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, Reform Alliance Co-Chairman, Grammy Award-winning musician Meek Mill and actor Kevin Hart announced a $7 million donation to 60 private and parochial schools in need. The schools will use the money to provide scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year to low-income students from underserved families.
Additionally, the funding will be used to provide much-needed home technology such as laptops, tablets and WiFi.
The latest installment of Meek Mill and Michael Rubin’s continued commitment to helping communities in need, with gifts totaling $17 million over the past few years, is this $7 million donation.
These charity events are a follow-up to major charity events and initiatives held during the recent holiday season at the end of 2022. To provide a special VIP experience to more than 30 children adversely affected by the criminal justice system and unfair probation, Rubin and Mill teamed up with the REFORM League, Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers for their annual Giving Season. m Ke also released bail for 20 Philadelphia women so they could spend Christmas Eve with their families.
