Did Casanova go home? Cas has been in prison on federal racketeering charges for some time, but maybe that time is coming to an end. On The Joe Budden podcast, Officially Ice gives an update.
I saw Casanova this week and shout out to him,” Ice said. “He showed his love to everyone. He said he wanted to be sentenced as soon as possible and he thought he would be out. “
Ice added, “He’s in Essex. I got someone over there and when I went to see them, he just walked out at the same time.”
In November 2022, the Brooklyn-born rapper sponsored a Thanksgiving event at Children of Promise in Brooklyn, New York. Children of Promise’s mission is “to work with children and families affected by mass incarceration to remove stigma and heal the trauma afflicting Black and brown communities.”
Rapper Jay Critch was in attendance for the event, which included activities and giveaways for the program’s kids. Casanova sent a video message for attendees. “Sons of our promise to give back. We won’t stop giving back to prison. You know what it is.”
In May 2022, Casanova pleaded guilty to multiple offenses in his Rack Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) case.
