HoodCelebrityy Shows Her Skill and Versatility in a Classic bazriding.
The New York-based Jamaican artist recently teamed up with Florida-based Black Shadow Records’ Troyton Rami to voice the iconic beat of one of Sean Paul’s biggest hits, “Gimme Di Light.”This bazriding The early 2000s also saw some of dancehall’s biggest names hit the ground running with the project, including Beenie Man, Capleton, Sizzla, Mr. Vegas, Mad Cobra, Elephant Man and more.
Some 20 years later, HoodCelebrityy breathes new life into riddim with her song “I’m Back,” produced by Black Shadow Records, the original producers behind the beat. Ramy said he reached out to Hood on Instagram, and they hit it off and started working together.
“It’s not easy for anyone to continue those beats like she did and bring back that old-fashioned vibe,” Ramy told the Star. “The ‘I’m Back’ challenge she created [has] It’s great to get people going crazy now. “
