cult streetwear brand Supreme and New York City’s popular footwear label Timberland have reunited for three versions of Timberland’s iconic 3-Eye Lug shoe. The collaboration follows on from the brand’s previous collaborations with Major League Baseball, particularly the New York Yankees, on the latter’s landmark Field Boot.
From the duo’s massive graphic collaboration for Fall 2021, to a ’90s-inspired clothing collaboration that same year, Supreme x Timberland knows how to make a splash in many forms. Made exclusively for Supreme, this latest release aims to further deepen its relationship with the outdoor footwear brand. Launching today isn’t the brand’s first boat shoe. Originally, Animal Print Interactive was created in 2019.
The capsule shoe collection is available in three bold colorways including black, pink and green.
These shoes consist of an intricately woven upper with a 360-degree lacing system. Additional details include leather lining and insole, debossed Timberland logo on the medial side, metal logo plate and print on the insole. Elevating the shoe is a thick black rubber lug outsole that provides added height and a solid ride. Supreme’s signature red naturally peeks out from the shoe’s inner lining and sole.
The merger of Supreme and Timberland has revealed a streetwear and footwear label that goes beyond clothes and boots. Both brands offer comprehensive products and have mastered the art of storytelling as lifestyle labels.
The shoe is versatile and will perform well in a variety of environments. Arguably the most adaptable piece of the two brands’ collaboration, the shoe appealed to the masses in terms of popularity. The Supreme x Timberland collaboration will be available worldwide today, December 8th at 11AM ET on Supreme.com. The shoes retail for $198.
