Today at 8AM PT, their first batch of pot will be announced on social media @DeathRowRecords and @DeathRow marijuana, using an animation of their globally renowned logo and showcasing their branded pre-rolled tubes. The teaser video was created by artist MylarMen and the soundtrack was composed by Kevin Gilliam aka DJ Battlecat. The 22-second clip is sure to thrill the label’s global fans, and it’s also the hilarious start to Death Row Records’ domination of marijuana country.
In an effort to bring Death Row back to its former glory, all elements of the former brand have been retuned to fit today’s audience and their changing tastes. The first products arrive in a limited-edition metal souvenir bag featuring the iconic image of a masked prisoner sitting in an electric chair on the front. Important things to note: This is an entirely new version of the prisoner designed specifically for the launch of the marijuana brand – the main difference being that one of his hands is free and he’s smoking a big pipe.

Another particularly exciting news for those marijuana connoisseurs is the man responsible for curating Death Row Cannabis. AK – Handpicked by Snoop – is a longtime West Coast traditional grower and industry insider, best known for his work with former partner WizardTrees on germination, selection and expert cultivation of RS11, Studio 54 and Shirazi strains from exotic cannabis breeder DEO Role. He is the man behind the IYKYK brand SMKRS and is also known as the Vice President of Cultivation for TRP LLC, which owns most of the cookie shops nationwide, including their Florida facility.
AK’s reputation for growing “fire” grasses and his color palette in choosing winning strains has people lining up in front of their dispensaries.
Death Row Cannabis will be rolling out in stores next week, so fans won’t have to wait long. The brand will soon make an announcement confirming the exact date and location of the debut.
